What you doing? -Hair Regimen

Here is my weekly /bi-weekly routine depending on my hairstyle. (Updated)

I usually wash my hair bi-weekly because I wear a lot of twists.  I am a big fan of protective styling and I workout a lot so twists are easiest for me.
I wash with As I Am Coconut Co-wash or Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retension Shampoo.
and then deep condition!!!!  I usually make my own deep conditioner, (see mix it up).  On days when I am to lazy to make my conditioner or I don't have all of the ingredients in the house I use Herbal Essence- hello hydration mixed with olive oil or coconut oil.

I make sure it is blended well and I sit under the dryer for 30 min or I will use my heat therapy wrap if I need to be mobile.

I detangle and comb through the product with my fingers (no brushes.  I use a shower comb every once and awhile if I want to be more thorough.


I rinse out with COOL water and follow with my leave-in conditioner 

I use to use Giovanni Direct-leave-in Weightless Moisture or elasta QP mango.

and STYLE!

I refresh with water, Amla & Olive Oil Heavy Cream by Qhemet Biologics and seal with olive or coconut oil.

I also try to exercise 3-4 times a week and try to eat well
take vitamins ( a multivitamin, 5000 mg of biotin and 200 mg Vitamin E)
and spray hair with a little water before applying products for maximum hydration.
